Many 18-year-olds would struggle to find the right words to tell their family should they accidentally become pregnant, with such news naturally triggering a range of complex emotions.
However, one young mother has now recalled the unique way she decided to break the news to her own family after finding herself in this exact situation, and it certainly would have taken plenty of confidence on her part.
Taking to TikTok, Charity Grace (@charity.grace) said that she was "thinking about the time that I thought that this was the best way to tell my family that I accidentally got pregnant at the age of 18".
Cringing at the memory, she then proceeded to show a Bob Ross painting which she had photoshopped to include an ultrasound pic and a positive pregnancy test, bearing the cheerful affirmation, "there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents".

The video has been liked more than 272.2K times at the time of writing, with many of Charity's followers left in absolute stitches at her unusually humorous decision.
One person laughed: "LMFAOOO omg I should’ve done this. I wanted the OB to type 'surprise shawtyyy' on the ultrasound but I was too nervous to ask".
Others shared their own fun pregnancy announcements, with one follower revealing: "I sent my dad a photo of the scan and said, 'Remember how you always used to say when you were my age you had 2 children'".
Another remembered: "I was 20 - my friend and I showed up at my parents' house, put a hamburger bun in the oven, told my mom to check the oven, ran out and drove off".
Somewhat surprisingly, Ross also featured in a number of other pregnancy stories, with one amused mum recalling: "My husband wore a Bob Ross shirt with that saying to the hospital when our son was born".
Another chuckled: "I bought a Bob Ross onesie that said the same thing… they didn’t think it was funny".
Meanwhile, a third person admitted that "an episode of Bob Ross was how my parents told me I was an accident".
