A TikTok user who posts as Ember Spies shared a video in which a man appeared at her apartment door with a suitcase after what on-screen text described as one date. She captioned the clip, “wtf! I would definitely prefer to be by myself at this point!” The video had gained 610,000 views, 14,100 likes, and more than 900 comments, at the time of writing.
Although there was no disclaimer, the interaction appeared to have been staged. The videos on the profile seem to feature the same people. On-screen text set the scene as “POV: went on ONE date with this guy and he showed up thinking he was going to move into my house.” The footage showed Ember filming from inside her apartment as the man stood outside holding a suitcase.
