A woman from Preston was furious after the takeaway she ordered arrived at her house nearly 20 hours late.
Ruth Anderton says she ordered just three items from the menu of the Sagnam Balti House in Lostock Hall, three miles out of the centre of Preston, according to LancsLive.
She placed the order, worth £23.50, at 10.06pm on February 20, comprising a sharing meal for three people and a bottle of Coca-Cola.
But the order did not arrive until 6pm the next day.
Ms. Anderton left the terrible feedback on the Preston Restaurant & Take Out Reviews page on Facebook.
She says that she was only told the following day, when she called up to complain and ask where her takeaway was, that they don’t accept orders after 10pm.
“I was ringing to see where it was the night before but no answer,” she wrote.
“When I rang the day after, the bloke on the phone said no more orders were taken after 10pm. But they were quick enough to take the money straight away.
“Within a couple of minutes a delivery driver was knocking on my door whilst I was still on the phone. 19 hours late.”
She added that she was then told that she would be receiving a refund, but that it has not yet materialised.
“I said how unimpressed I was and he said he'd refund me by sending a driver the day after with my money,” she went on.
“Never showed. Must have clocked my number and ignoring me. Might pay them a visit when I'm next in Lostock Hall.”
The takeaway has been contacted about the matter, but is yet to comment.
