A woman has been found dead at a property in Renfrew this morning.
Police attended the Edgar Crescent home after being made aware of the death around 10.10am.
Police vehicles were seen stationed in the street as enquiries into establishing exactly what happened went on.
Officers say they are looking into how the woman died but at this moment are classifying her death as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said this afternoon: “We were made aware of the death of a woman at a property on Edgar Crescent in Renfrew around 10.10am on Tuesday, January 3.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
