A woman was left furious after her fancy meal out was ruined by "screaming and crying" children sitting at the table next to her. The diner had booked a posh restaurant for her family, however not long after arriving, a mum and dad with three youngsters were seated next to them.
Taking to Mumsnet to vent her frustrations, she says the children spent the entire meal climbing on the window sills and bashing cutlery on the table. The disruption was so bad that she ended up complaining to restaurant staff and was offered a free bottle of wine - but says this wasn't enough to make up for the trouble.
As reported by the Mirror, she explained: "Four of us booked a table in an expensive restaurant last night for 7.30pm. About 10 minutes after we'd sat down a couple came in pushing a buggy and with two other children in tow. They were seated at the table beside us."
