Woman arrested after 'disturbance' in city centre hotel room

A woman has been arrested following a disturbance at a hotel in Liverpool city centre.

Police cars lined James Street after officers were called to the Heeton Concept Hotel following reports of a disturbance in one of the rooms at around 8.50am this morning (July 7).

A 22-year-old woman from Walton has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled class A drug (heroin). She is currently in police custody for questioning.
