Emergency services have raced to the scene of a house fire in Wishaw this evening.
Fire crews were alerted to the blaze on Stewarton Street alongside police and ambulance crews after the alarm was raised around 7:30pm.
The road has been closed off to traffic by police.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) have confirmed to Glasgow Live that six casualties have been passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Fire crews remain at the scene as they work to extinguish the two-storey house blaze.
A SFRS spokesman said: "SFRS we were alerted at 7.26pm on Friday to reports of a dwelling fire on Stewarton Street, Wishaw.
"Operations Control mobilised 4 appliances to the scene. and firefighters are working to extinguish a fire affecting a two-storey property. Six casualties were passed into the care of Scottish Ambulance Service and crews remain at the scene."
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
