As the Academy Awards get underway, you may have noticed that certain celebrities and stars are wearing red pins on their outfits this year.
The reasoning? Those red pins are the logo of Artists4Ceasefire — a group of celebrities urging the United States and President Joe Biden to call for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. Almost 400 celebrities — from Andrew Garfield to Florence Pugh and more — have signed the petition, with the band Boygenius having worn the pins on the 2024 Grammys red carpet.
