Why Bulls’ Coby White is a lock for the NBA’s 2024 Most Improved Player award

It was not all that long ago that even fans of the Chicago Bulls might not have known who backup Bulls guard Coby White was, but these days, pretty much everyone does — and for good reason. One of the few silver linings to an otherwise lost season, White’s steady growth came to light when starting point guard Zach LaVine injured his foot.

And while he has been working steadily to improve his game, that bad luck became something better with the opportunity that opened up for him. Will it show in the eyes of the voters for full-season awards when it comes to White winning Most Improved Player for 2024?

The folks behind the “Bulls Central” YouTube channel recently put together a video highlighting White’s unexpected growth this season and how it has changed a season that was a major disappointment into something to look forward to.
