Who Rangers could be tracking during Denmark scouting mission as Dave Vos connection hints at winger move

Rangers look to be getting an early start on their transfer business this winter with Gio van Bronckhorst and sporting director Ross Wilson sending scouts to watch Denmark under-21's clash with Croatia.

Danish outlet TV2 have stated that Rangers were among a host of clubs from across the globe represented a during the 2-1 victory for the home side at the Vejle Stadium, which saw Celtic star Matt O'Riley net his first international goal. A whopping 39 clubs sent their talent spotters to the game including English Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City, German powerhouses Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and Serie A outfit AS Roma.

With the Scottish Premiership side looking for fresh talent, speculation has ramped up over who could be on the Ibrox radar, and assistant manager Dave Vos could hold the key. Van Bronckhorst's number two left his role as Ajax's academy guru to make the move to Govan.

Ajax and Denmark prospect Mohamed Daramy would have worked under Vos during his time in charge of the youth sides in Amsterdam as well as Ajax 2. He set him on his way to their first-team, where he made 13 appearances and netted twice last term.

The 20-year-old plays primarily as a left winger, and could be viewed as back-up - or as a potential successor to - Ryan Kent. Kent's contract runs out at the end of the current campaign.

Daramy is currently on loan at FC Copenhagen, where he has enjoyed a decent start making nine appearances and netting once. His loan in Denmark expires at the end of the campaign and could be one for the future.

Croatian stopper Mario Vuskovic was also in action, having previously been on Celtic's radar. The 20-year-old has been a regular for Hamburg in Bundesliga 2 this term, but with Ben Davies previously attracting interest from Parkhead before joining Rangers a similar scenario could be on the cards in the future.
