Bowie Knife 99 is Forza Horizon 6’s unexpected villain, an AI drivatar that terrorizes players, ruins races, and won’t stay down.
This isn’t a famous streamer or a secret developer, but a rogue AI drivatar that crashes into players on purpose, winning races out of nowhere, and becoming the game’s most hated (and viral) villain.
Who exactly is Bowie Knife 99?
Bowie Knife 99 is not a real human player. He’s a drivatar, an AI-controlled car that mimics the driving behavior of a real Xbox player, even when that player is offline. Drivatars are meant to fill race grids and add competition, but Bowie Knife 99 is anything but normal.

He is different because he deliberately crashes into players, goes off-course, and sabotages your race, while a regular player, on the other hand, follows the race track, competes fairly, is random, and crashes like normal cars.
Why does the community hate him?
The hatred for Bowie Knife 99 comes down to three main reasons. He ruins races intentionally. Players describe him going wildly off-track just to ram into them, causing them to lose control or crash out completely. He’s unstoppable. Even when players try to revenge-crash into Bowie Knife 99, he recovers instantly, as if programmatically protected.

He appears everywhere. The drivatar shows up in player sessions worldwide, often multiple times in a single day. Some players have raced against three Bowie Knife 99 cars in one session, making it feel like he’s hunting everyone.
Why some players actually love him
Despite the hatred, Bowie Knife 99 has become a viral meme and even a fan favorite for some. He’s the game’s first true villain, and Forza Horizon 6 finally has an antagonist players can rally against.

He adds excitement, as every race becomes unpredictable when Bowie might show up. Many players don’t want Playground Games to remove him because he’s become part of the game’s identity.
Can you report or block Bowie Knife 99 in Forza Horizon 6?
Since Bowie Knife 99 is a drivatar based on an AI model, not a live player, you can’t report or block him. The real player behind the drivatar has their Xbox username set to private, so no one knows who they are.

The only way to stop him would be for Playground Games to reset or patch the drivatar, but so far, the community seems to enjoy the chaos. Bowie Knife 99 has already become one of the biggest community memes in Horizon history.
As drivatars learn from real player behavior, Bowie Knife 99 might only get more aggressive and skilled over time, potentially becoming even more ruthless.
