EastEnders viewers are being kept in the dark as to how serial killer Gray Atkins will leave the BBC soap.
He is finally caught out over his horrific crimes next week, leading to residents wanting revenge - with a stunt teased.
Amid a number of showdowns, it's not known if the police will catch up with Gray or if he will meet a grisly end.
But what is known is that the truth about his wife Chantelle Atkins' death comes to light, just after the discovery of Tina Carter's body.
The Carters soon learn Gray was likely behind her demise, while residents still have no idea that Gray also killed Kush Kazemi.
A trailer for next week's episodes promise drama, as several residents are shown attacking or looking for the killer around Walford.
As the police descend on the Square, a manhunt is underway - with more than one character becoming embroiled in a showdown of sorts with Gray.
Amid predictions of another victim on the way, we take a look back at Gray's murders and why he carried them out.
Chantelle Atkins
Chantelle was Gray's first murder victim, it would appear, with him killing her after years of domestic abuse.
Gray was violent towards his wife, and he also emotionally abused her so that she was under his control.
He managed to manipulate her for so long until she found the courage to leave him.
Realising he was never going to change and that she could be free without him, she decided to flee with the children - with the help of Kheerat Panesar.
But Gray worked out what she was planning and confronted her at their home, after making her leave a family holiday early.
It's then that she told him she was leaving him, finding the courage to tell him exactly what she thought of him and that he could not control her anymore.
But tragically Gray attacked her, and pushed her so hard she landed on the open dishwasher.
She became impaled by the broken crockery and the knives that were facing upwards, with Gray then leaving her to die and setting up an alibi to get away with it.
While there were suspicions from Kheerat that Gray was involved, he played the grieving husband so well that he got away with it.
But in December, Whitney Dean found evidence that Gray had abused Chantelle, leading to her and Kheerat's belief that he did in fact kill her.
The Bakers and Taylors finally find out the truth about their beloved Chantelle next week, so how will they react?
Tina Carter
Tina was Gray's second victim on the show, and she died just three months after Gray murdered Chantelle.
The character was about to go on the run after being accused by police of the attack on Ian Beale, which she was innocent of.
What she didn't initially know was that she was no longer being investigated, but Gray, not wanting her around, lied and told her she had to flee that evening.
Tina bumped into the leading detective though, who soon confessed Gray was supposed to tell her she was all clear.
She realised Gray had been meddling behind the scenes and was out to get her, so she headed to his house to confront him over his controlling ways.
After likening him to her abusive ex Tosh, she soon came to the startling realisation that he abused Chantelle before her death.
But things took a dark turn when she accused Gray of killing his wife and he could not hide the truth from his face.
Turning on her, he soon chased her around the house before murdering her in the living room.
Tina had marks around her neck as she was shown lifeless on the sofa, before Gray wrapped up her body in a shower curtain and disposed of it.
Just recently it was confirmed her body had been buried under the Argee Bhajee the entire time, and it was discovered by Phil Mitchell.
It's now been identified as Tina's body, and when Shirley and Mick learn the truth next week they will be on the warpath.
Kush Kazemi
Gray's final victim for the time being was Kush, a much-loved resident of Walford.
He was dating Whitney Dean at the time of his death, and after some trouble with the Mitchells and the law, the pair decided to go on the run.
Kush did nothing to Gray, and he didn't rumble his killer secret, but this didn't stop Gray planning his demise.
Gray was obsessed with Whitney at the time, and knowing Kush was the reason she was leaving was enough for him to murder again.
As Whitney took Kush's son Arthur to a toilet, Kush waited on a tube platform unaware that Gray was watching him.
He soon approached him and the pair got into a scuffle, as Kush realised Gray was trying to hurt him.
But just as it seemed Kush had got the better of Gray, the character bounced off the floor and shoved him in front of an incoming tube train, before fleeing the scene.
It was said to be an accident, despite Whitney's initial fears that the Mitchells had had Kush killed.
Since then there has been no link between Gray and Kush's death, and no mention of it, but fans are wondering how the murder will be exposed as Gray faces his downfall next week.
It's also feared Whitney and Gray's new wife Chelsea Fox could be a final victim, as Gray loses control after being found out.
Amid a trailer teasing several residents trying to attack Gray, he will have showdowns with both Chelsea and Whitney - one of which features a stunt.
