The UEFA Europa League round of 16 draw will take place on Friday following the conclusion of the knockout round play-off, with Arsenal learning who their next opponents in the competition will be.
The Gunners avoided playing in the last 32 knockout play-off round by virtue of topping their group in the first half of the season and will resume their European campaign next month.
Before the World Cup break, Mikel Arteta's men won five of their six group games to finish two points above PSV Eindhoven. Finishing top of the group meant the north Londoners avoided an extra round of fixtures against one of the third-placed Champions League teams.
Whilst the focus at London Colney will remain on their first Premier League title in 19 years, a good run in the knockout stages of the Europa League will only breed confidence.
