A powdered egg substitute has been recalled nationwide because it may contain egg, and the people most likely to have it in their kitchens are precisely the people it could hurt.

529 Commerce, LLC of Parkland, Florida, is recalling 3,860 units of Rooted in Rare brand Aquafaba Powder in 4-ounce and 12-ounce pouches. The recall was triggered after a consumer reported an allergic reaction. No other illness reports have been received to date.
