Destiny's Child was one of the most iconic girl groups of the nineties and noughties, having sold more than 60 million records worldwide to date.
The band was originally formed of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett in 1990, with the girls being signed to Columbia Records and Music World Entertainment with the official name Destiny's Child in 1997.
Following the success of their self-titled album, which included hit tunes such as No, No, No, the group were thrust into mainstream recognition with their second album, The Writing's on the Wall, which featured song such as Bills, Bills, Bills and Say My Name.
In 2000, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett decided to leave the group. They were replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin, the latter who quit after five months. The group remained a trio until their fourth and final studio album, Destiny Fulfilled, in 2004
So nearly twenty years on from their final outing as a trio, where are Destiny's Child today?
Beyoncé
Beyoncé is undeniably the most famous of the group. After the band parted ways, Beyoncé established a vastly successful solo career after splitting from the group in 2003.
Since then, the star has made history with 32 Grammy wins, became the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, and has sold over 200 million records worldwide. In 2018, the star became the first ever Black woman to headline Coachella, and she has been raking in millions with her other endeavours, such as her Netflix special.
She is currently on her sold-out Renaissance World Tour.
Beyoncé has been married to Jay-Z since 2008, and they share three children, 11-year-old Blue Ivy, and twin brother and sister Sir and Rumi, both five.
They recently bought the most expensive home in California for $200million after reports Beyonce will earn $2billion for her Renaissance tour.
Kelly Rowland
Kelly was another OG member of Destiny's Child who went on to forge a successful career with her albums, Simply Deep in 2002, Ms. Kelly in 2007, Here I Am in 2011, and 2013's Talk a Good Game.
She is currently working on her fifth album after signing to Jay-Z's Roc Nation in 2020.
Kelly has also lent her expertise as a coach on The Voice and The X Factor UK and USA.
She is married to Tim Weatherspoon, and they have two children together.
Michelle Williams
Michelle Williams was the last member to join the group. She later went into acting, making her television debut in the UPN comedy Half & Half.
She also went on to star in the stage productions The Color Purple, Chicago, and Fela!
Michelle chronicled her life in the 2021 memoir, Checking In: How Getting Real About Depression Saved My Life–and Can Save Yours. She also co-starred in Hallmark's TV movie Christmas in Harmony.
LaTavia Roberson
LaTavia Roberson went on to form the R&B quartet called Anjel, which did not last long. LaTavia's life, career and battle with alcohol addiction in the spotlight will be chronicled in the upcoming documentary, The Reintroduction: I Am Who She Is.
LeToya Luckett
LeToya Luckett was also a member of the short-lived group, Anjel. LeToya also did a recent tell-all on her life after Destiny's Child in her new digital show, "Leave it to LeToya."
