When does Celebrity Big Brother Australia 2022 start on E4 and who is in the line-up?

The Diary Room is opening once again as Celebrity Big Brother heads Down Under this February.

Channel 4 confirmed that 12 celebs, including Meghan Markle's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr, are heading off to a luxury hotel to compete for a $100,000 (£53,000) charity prize.

Shut off from the outside world, the contestants have to learn to live together and complete challenges to win over the public who will be watching from home.

The UK version of the reality TV show was axed in 2018, as Channel 5 failed to reach an agreement with production company Endemol Shine. Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas nabbed the final win.

Devoted fans were gutted to see the series go, and have been calling for it to be renewed. One of the most prominent advocates for its return is Rylan Clarke, the TV star who rose to fame through X Factor before going on to win Big Brother in 2013 and host the spin-off show Bit on the Side between 2013 and its cancellation in 2018.

Replying to Channel 4's Tweet announcing that Celebrity Big Brother Australia is confirmed, Rylan said "Amazing news... NOW BRING OURS BACK."

While Rylan leads the rallying cry for its domestic reinstatement, UK viewers can enjoy the Aussie version, hosted by Sonia Kruger.

Here's everything you need to know.
