- Volodymyr Zelensky has voiced sharp criticism of Donald Trump and Elon Musk in a recent interview, stating that outages affecting Starlink led to fatalities.
- The Ukrainian leader pushed back against assertions by Mr Musk that Starlink technology should not be utilised for offensive combat, as Kyiv encountered system restrictions.
- Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, he said: "It's not about attacks It's also about defending the lives.”
- He added: “So people were killed because [there was] not enough destroying, not enough interceptors, including interceptors with Starlink, which didn't work, of course."
- He also said Vladimir Putin was "laughing" and spoke of feeling "betrayed" by Donald Trump’s move to loosen sanctions targeting Russian diesel.
