The decline was further driven by softer demand at its Deltek government contracting unit, concerns about potential U.S. government shutdown impacts, and a slight revenue miss of $2.06 billion.
Analysts' consensus view on ROP stock remains cautiously optimistic, with a "Moderate Buy" rating overall.
