A number of Tottenham players have jetted off abroad following Antonio Conte's promise ahead of the Premier League victory against Leicester last week.
Conte's unbeaten record with the north Londoners ended in dramatic fashion as Chelsea recorded their fourth win over the Lilywhites this season with the latest 2-0 triumph.
"I think that in the three games we played against Chelsea today was for me for the effort that I have seen I like it. In the second half of the Carabao Cup we gave a good game. We are improving, also to play against Chelsea," Conte reflected after the defeat at Stamford Bridge in his post-match press conference.
"In this moment it is very difficult to face this type of team. Squad not team because they don't have 11 players, they have 22, 23 players at an important level and this made a big difference to the other teams.
"The effort was good, the performance, the attitude, the commitment of my players, I have to be proud. I like what I have seen tonight, despite the defeat. The defeat hurts me a lot."
Prior to Thomas Tuchel inflicting more damage on Tottenham, Conte had re-energised a team that look devoid of ideas under Nuno Espirito Santo prior to his appointment.
Despite the nine-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League coming to an end, Spurs fans will be more than content at the job the Italian has done so far during his short spell with all eyes on Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy for the next week or so.
With the north London outfit now not in action until their FA Cup fourth round fixture against Graham Potter's Brighton side on February 5, the Spurs players were promised time off from the training pitch - just like Chelsea had prior to the derby at the weekend - to unwind, relax and come back stronger for the next part of the season.
football.london reported at the time that Conte had promised them extra time off if they could beat the Foxes at the King Power Stadium.
And four Spurs players have already taken advantage of this promise from the manager with Bryan Gil, Pierluigi Gollini, Lucas Moura and Sergio Reguilon all pictured across the world on holiday.
The quartet have uploaded pictures of what they have been doing on their respective Instagram accounts - @bryan11gil, @lucasmoura7, @piergollo and @sergioregui.
Gil is soaking up the sun in the Gran Canaria, whilst Gollini and Moura are in different parts Dubai for their individual breaks.
Meanwhile, Reguilon and his partner Marta haven't yet disclosed whereabouts they will be for the next week or so but judging by the hints in his Instagram story, it seems to be somewhere sunny and a place with a beach.
