The Model Y is Tesla's best-selling vehicle at the moment and one of the most popular electric crossovers in the world. 

However, several competent competitors launched since March 2020 when Model Y deliveries began, giving customers more Tesla alternatives to consider. 

Top Gear has assembled an interesting group for a test that pits the Tesla Model Y against all its rivals currently available in the United Kingdom. The group includes the VW ID.4, Skoda Enyaq, Audi Q4 e-tron, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Polestar 2, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, BMW iX3 and Jaguar I-Pace.
