It's shaping up to be a busy couple of days with what's on in Dublin this weekend. From wholesome family markets to epic party nights to bits in between, you may well want to get planning to maximise the fun you're going to have at these fantastic events in Dublin.

'80s Power Ballads Night at The Workman's Club

Expect Alice Cooper, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and more beloved '80s belters as The Workman's Club hosts the ultimate party dedicated to the decade this Saturday, March 12.

The event, which kicks off at 11.30pm, promises to bring you back to a time of big hair and even bigger voices.

Dublin Comic Con

Superheroes and plenty of fantasy fun is what to expect from Dublin Comic Con as it takes over the Convention Centre this weekend.

The lineup includes Hollywood actors and local artists and even gives guests the chance to have their portfolios of work reviewed by professionals.

This is set to be an exciting event for fans of TV, movies, comic books and gaming, and tickets are available here.

Shanti Celeste at Wigwam

Up and coming UK artist Shanti Celeste performs for nightlife lovers at Wigwam this Saturday, March 12.

The DJ offers a fresh take on "the classic Motor City sound" and is sure to delight anyone heading along to the live music venue this weekend.

Battle of the Bands, The Workman's Club

Meanwhile over in The Workman's Club on Sunday, you'll catch Battle of the Bands, where a slew of talented up and coming acts will showcase their sound.

If you're in the market for new and exciting music from Dublin's future stars, you can grab tickets here. Proceeds will go to LGBTQ+ youth Charity BeLonGTo.

Six Nations Fanzone

Wondering where to watch the Six Nations this weekend? Look no further than the Six Nations Fanzone in the basement of The Well at St Stephen's Green.

All the fun takes place as Italy take on Scotland at 2.15pm and Ireland take on England at 4.45pm.

You can expect confetti cannons, prizes and a live DJ. Plus, your ticket includes one meal and a pint.

Bushy Park Market

Bushy Park Market is back for a second week following its long-awaited return last week, which features delicious food stalls, live music and locally made crafts.

The market starts at 10am and runs until 4pm every Saturday.

Cliche Vintage Dublin Kilo Sale

The Cliche Vintage Dublin Kilo Sale takes place this Saturday, March 12 between 11am and 5.30pm at 36 Parnell Square West.

Expect to find loads of vintage clothes to rummage through such as shirts, jeans and dresses.

Items are charged depending on their weight, meaning you could get yourself some serious bargains if it's light summer bits you're after. Tickets cost €1 and can be booked here.
