Manchester United hero Robin van Persie passed on vital tips about finishing to Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri during his coaching session at the Carrington training ground.
Van Persie was spotted back in the area on Monday night when dining with United manager Erik ten Hag and the agent they both share. It emerged the former Netherlands striker had touched down in the UK as part of a drive to earn further coaching badges after hanging up his boots in 2019.
The 39-year-old is currently assistant manager at Feyenoord but, during his playing days, was a renowned forward winning two Golden Boots in the Premier League. One of those came at Old Trafford the season after he signed for United from rivals Arsenal with Van Persie going on to score 58 goals in 105 matches for the club.
