Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has been pranked during training as the striker celebrated his 29th birthday. It comes the day before the FA Cup final with Liverpool but that did not stop two of his teammates having some fun with the Belgian.
Lukaku has hit a rich vein of form for the Blues after a disappointing first campaign back in west London. Chelsea spent £97.5million on the striker during the summer transfer window but he has scored just eight goals in 25 Premier League appearances.
But three of those goals have come in his past two matches against Leeds and Wolves, sparking a debate over whether or not he should now start for Thomas Tuchel in the biggest match of the campaign so far. It was a question put to the Chelsea manager at his pre-match press conference, after the player's agent sparked more speculation by talking about his client's future.

"I was only made aware of it [the agent's comments] five or 10 minutes ago, actually," he said. "It's what sometimes happens in football. The attention is so high that sometimes it attracts situations that you don't want to have before big matches. It's the way it is. For me, it is not a distraction and hopefully, for everybody that works on the team and the team itself, it is not.
"Yes, we can also play both [Lukaku and Kai Havertz], although they lacked a bit of the feeling of being a perfect fit together. It's very likely that it is one of the two, but we will not give the line-up today. Listen, Romelu has played lately and scored lately. He did everything to stay on the pitch. Will be our final call in the morning."
Spirits appeared to be high at training on Friday, however, despite the big kick-off just 24 hours away. As the players relaxed in the pools, Jorginho and Mount hatched a plan of how to make Lukaku's birthday a memorable one.
With the England ace acting as a cameraman, Jorginho, one of Chelsea's calmest figures on the field, approached Lukaku like a mischievous child and began splashing the striker who had recently wrapped himself in a towel. The birthday boy was clearly not a big fan and tried to wrestle his teammate's attention away - although Lukaku could not help cracking a smile himself.
Eventually, Jorginho himself was dragged into the pool. When the dust had settled Mount shared the footage to his Instagram story, along with the caption: "Birthday present for the big man."
