Forecasters are warning that the record Irish temperature ever recorded in August could be broken over the next few days.
If it happens, it'll be second time that a record is smashed this year in terms of temperature, after an alarming high of 33C was reached in the second week of July - the hottest day Ireland has had for over a century.
And while things aren't expected to reach that peak over during this incoming heatwave, a number of records could be on track to be broken.
Anyone who lived through the summer of 1995 will remember how horrifically warm it was at times - the warmest summer Ireland had had in over 100 years at that time.

Ireland experienced drought conditions throughout the summer, which caused major issues for potato farmers in rural areas, as they had difficulty watering crops due to water shortages.
Several areas around the country were also issued with hosepipe bans, and residents were asked not to hose lawns due to drought conditions.
The highest temperature recorded during the heatwave was 31.5C at Oak Park in Carlow on August 2 1995.
Paul Downes, Meteorologist at Met Éireann, has said: "Oak Park will likely be one station to watch again later this week, especially on Friday and Saturday, the likelihood of exceeding the August record temperature is quite low. However, temperatures exceeding 30°C locally cannot be ruled out."
But another weather expert seems to think we'll see some records broken.
Alan O'Reilly of CarlowWeather explained that the latest charts revealed a lot, writing: "The very latest weather charts rolling out from the ARPEGE model show temperatures possibly rising to up to 33c Saturday. Just one model so unlikely at present to verify but UKV model showed 31c
"The latest UKV model charts show up to 33c possibly on Saturday too but ECMWF has a top temp of 29c. Will be interesting to watch the next few updates."
