The games just keep on coming for Rangers at the moment.
It's been Premiership and Champions League duty thus far but now they must focus their attention on the Premier Sports Cup. Every piece of silverware matters at Ibrox but Giovanni van Bronckhorst may well use a meeting with Queen of the South to utilise his squad.
Rangers host the Doonhamers knowing they face a trip to Celtic Park just a few days later, so there will likely be changes to Van Bronckhorst's line-up. But his players will be well warned not to take the League One outfit lightly, despite their poor start to their own campaign. Rangers reached the semi-final of this competition last year before suffering a chastening Hampden defeat to Hibs. They'll be hoping to put that behind them and go all the way to lifting the trophy this time around. Their quest to do so starts right here.
