Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie has already told Jesse Marsch that he would be the perfect partner for Tyler Adams in Leeds United's midfield after being linked with a move to Elland Road in the January transfer window.
McKennie, 24, is on the list of midfielders that the club are interested in signing, according to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano. It is thought that Angers star Azzedine Ounahi is also on the club's radar as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the transfer deadline next week.
A midfield reinforcement is clearly a priority for Marsch and although the McKennie links may have caught many off guard, the Leeds coach already knows why the deal makes perfect sense. The Serie A star has partnered Tyler Adams in central midfield on numerous occasions on international level and the Juventus man has detailed how well the pair complement one another.
