Western Leaders Rally Behind Ukraine Amid Trump-Zelensky Clash

Following a contentious meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, Western leaders are showing support for Ukraine amidst deepening divisions with the United States. The Oval Office exchange highlighted the delicate balance Western capitals must strike in supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression while navigating a complex relationship with a transactional US president.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer reaffirmed unwavering support for Ukraine and is actively working towards a lasting peace based on sovereignty and security. The UK is set to host a summit of European leaders to discuss further support for Kyiv, with Zelensky expected to attend.
