A West Lothian DJ duo are set to beat off the likes of Beyonce and Kate Bush to stay at number one in the charts for the sixth week running.
LF System, a duo comprised of Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan are set to score the longest running UK number one in six years by a Scottish artist with their hit tune, Afraid to Feel. The song has just hit one million global Shazams, and is also on track to claim the longest running number one dance record ever - quite the feat by the newly formed duo.
After only meeting a couple years ago at Edinburgh's FLY club night, and giving up their full time jobs in June, the pair have released a few tracks previous to Afraid to Feel. But their newest single, now certified Gold, has gone viral on social media, and they have been busy selling out shows in Edinburgh and Ibiza.

The pair commented on the excitement of fending off Beyonce in the charts, saying: "We would never have imagined in our wildest dreams how amazing this journey would be. We only left our day jobs a couple of months ago and now we have a Gold certified single and are flying the flag for Scotland with the longest running Scottish #1 in quite some time.
"To be in the same conversation as Lewis Capaldi and one of our idols, Calvin Harris, as well as competing with the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, Kate Bush, George Ezra and loads more of massive international artists, is a real dream come true.”
LF System will perform at Edinburgh's FLY Open Air festival on Saturday, September 17. Tickets will be available via resale here.
