A pair of mums decided to ditch the UK and head to Ibiza for the ultimate girls' day out, after finding cheap flights to the party island for just £37. Clare Jeffs, 36, and Hannah Brown, 38, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, spent a total of £103 each which included their flights, food and travel.
The close friends were trying to plan a day out when they found the cheap return flights to the Balearic Islands, and realised that it would be cheaper than a day out in London. They booked the flights, and ended up spending a day in Ibiza's Old Town, having brunch, sunbathing and then returning home by midnight.
It was an early start with a 3am taxi to get their 5.45am flight with easyJet, but the pair say it was worth it. Clare, a complaints advisor, said: "I had a baby last year. I haven't spent a day away from her since she was born. She has some medical issues, so I didn't really want to take her on holiday. I assumed I wouldn't be abroad for a good few years.
