NEW DELHI: An elated skipper Pat Cummins on Sunday hailed the all-round effort from his side as Australia grabbed a record-extending sixth World Cup title beating hosts India comprehensively by 6 wickets in Ahmedabad.
Cummins said that restricting the star-studded Indian batting line-up to a modest 240 was a huge factor in Australia's win.
Riding on Travis Head's 120-ball 137, the Aussies chased down the target after an early stutter to etch a six-wicket victory.
