We expected the wicket to play well but not as slow as it did: Ashwin

NEW DELHI: Ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who starred for India with a six-fer, said the team management expected the wicket to play well but not as slow as it did in the past two days of the fourth and final Test against Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Ashwin, who toiled hard to claim 6/91 in 47.2 overs, hoped the wicket would help the spinners in the next three days.
