The Washington Commanders hosted a 2023 NFL draft party at National Harbor on Saturday, and many fans turned out for the event.
The Commanders had several players there to meet with the fans, including star defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and first-round Emmanuel Forbes.
Also at National Harbor was presumed starting quarterback Sam Howell and wide receiver Jahan Dotson — Washington’s first-round pick in 2022.
Julie Donaldson had Howell and Dotson on the stage and asked them, “What can we expect when you two connect on game days?”
Dotson didn’t hesitate to answer.
“A lot of touchdowns, a lot of touchdowns,” he said. Howell agreed.

Dotson missed several games and still led the Commanders with seven touchdown receptions. Howell started the final game and led Washington to a blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys, giving himself an opportunity to earn the starting position in 2023.
