Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence can add NVP to his list of career accomplishments.
On Wednesday, Lawrence was named the Nickelodeon Valuable Player of the week for his four-touchdown day against the Tennessee Titans. While the performance earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time in his career, his first ever NVP award meant a surprise sliming at practice, courtesy of offensive linemen Brandon Scherff and Luke Fortner.

Nickelodeon’s NFL Slimetime has given NVP honors since the 2021 season. Pass rusher Josh Allen is the only other Jaguars player to win the award after recording a sack, interception, and fumble recovery against the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills in 2021.

Lawrence threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans. He added another two rushing touchdowns.
So far in the 2023 season, Lawrence has 2,382 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. On Sunday, he became the third youngest quarterback in NFL history to eclipse 10,000 career passing yards.
