Prior to Sunday’s win in Arizona, Jordan Fuller had never had more than two pass breakups in a game in his career. In fact, he only had 11 total in 41 games played, including just two this season.
But in the Rams’ victory over the Cardinals, Fuller stood out in a big way. Fuller made three tackles and broke up a career-high four tackles, and he just happened to be mic’d up.
Fuller was playing so well that he even admitted to Derion Kendrick after his third pass breakup, “I’m playing out of my mind.” His teammates and coaches were hounding him on the sideline for having so many near-picks, including Raheem Morris.
“Hey! Can we run the catch-it drill with Jordan?” Morris jokingly asked the DBs.
A lot went right for the Rams on Sunday afternoon and Fuller was a big part of that.
