Though Sunday’s win by the Rams was a complete team performance on both sides of the ball, one player is generating more buzz than anyone else: Puka Nacua.
The fifth-round rookie out of BYU had a dream debut for Los Angeles against the Seahawks, catching 10 of his 15 targets for 119 yards. It was the most yards ever by a Rams rookie in his NFL debut and his 15 targets are the most of any rookie receiver in Week 1.

Nacua may be filling in for Cooper Kupp but he’s not going anywhere when the Rams’ top receiver returns from injured reserve. He’ll remain an impact player for Los Angeles moving forward, showing he can be a big target for Matthew Stafford on short and intermediate passes.
