Chiedozie Ogbene showed his star quality once more with a spectacular overhead kick as Ireland played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Belgium.
The Corkman pulled out a wondrous first-half equaliser as he hit the net with a deliciously acrobatic effort from nothing.
Michy Batshuayi had put the Belgians in front inside 12 minutes with a stunning effort of his own but he was upstaged by his Irish counterpart.
Nigerian-born Ogbene, who played for his native Cork City and Limerick and now operates at Rotherham United, had no right to score from the position he picked up the ball.
Matt Doherty and Shane Duffy had both done brilliantly to keep the ball alive when it looked like Belgium were set to clear a corner.
Callum Robinson wriggled free on the touchline and sent in a sumptuous cross that the Belgian defenders couldn’t fully clear.

Ogbene had his back to goal as he controlled the ball but his second touch was one of beauty, an overhead that was on its way in before being deflected home.
And he wasn’t done yet as, after Hans Vanaken had headed Belgium back in front, he laid on a second equaliser for Alan Browne with an inch-perfect cross.
