With 30 seconds left on the clock in the first quarter, the Ohio State football team finally strikes against the Nebraska Cornhuskers to make the score 7-0. It is slightly disappointing it took the Buckeyes so long to get on the board as they were expected to win by more than three touchdowns, but perhaps this most recent drive was a sign of good things to come.
OSU quarterback, Will Howard was able to connect with wide receiver, Carnell Tate on a 40-yard passing touchdown. Howard is gaining some traction here as he has six completions on all six attempts for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Tate is currently leading the Ohio State receivers with two receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. This game has been a tight one so far, but the Buckeyes look like they are finding their groove and could finish this one out strong much like when they played the Iowa Hawkeyes.
