Rangers defender Borna Barisic says the Anfield atmosphere 'wasn't better' than Ibrox after the two sides met in the Champions League earlier this week.
Goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah secured Liverpool a 2-0 victory to secure second place in group A, three points ahead of Ajax, heading into matchday four. The Reds will make the return trip to Scotland next Wednesday, before they head to Amsterdam later this month.
Barisic, who played the full 90 minutes for the visitors at Anfield, believes Rangers will be a different prospect next week on their own turf and says Ibrox has a better atmosphere.

“They are a top team. But we are growing, we are learning and I think we will be much better at Ibrox. It is our home, our crowd," he told the Glasgow Times. "They are a 12th player for us.
“When we play at home it will be a little bit easier for us. But we also need to realise that all these teams play in front of away crowds, in front of 50,000, 60,000, 70,000 people. They are used to it.
“But it (Ibrox) is still the best (atmosphere) by far for me. With all due respect to everyone, I thought Anfield had a good atmosphere. But for me personally, not just because I am playing at Rangers, it wasn’t better than Ibrox.
“Maybe it’s because I have played in so many big games, played on so many big nights, but for me Ibrox is the best still.”
Rangers currently sit rock bottom of the group and are yet to pick up any points in their three games so far. Prior to the Liverpool loss, they were beaten 4-0 by Ajax in their opening game and 3-0 by Napoli before the international break.
Jurgen Klopp 's side, on the other hand, were beaten 4-1 by the Serie A club in their first game but managed a narrow 2-1 victory over Ajax last month.
