Warwick Davis backs social media ban for children to help them explore nature

Children should be banned from using social media as part of an effort to get them back in to nature, Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis has said as he was made an OBE by the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle.

Mr Davis – who has confirmed he will reprise his role as Professor Filius Flitwick in the upcoming reboot of the Harry Potter franchise – was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2026 New Year Honours list for his services to drama and charity.
