With the Golden State Warriors’ game one playoff opener in the first round against the Denver Nuggets approaching, Steph Curry’s status for Saturday’s matchup is still undetermined.
On Tuesday, the team announced Curry was making good progress with his sprained ligament and bone bruise in his left foot that kept him out of the final 12 games of the regular season. Curry recently returned to the court at practice for individual work.
On Wednesday, the eight-time All-Star guard made another positive step in his highly-anticipated return to the court. Curry was a full participant at practice in San Francisco. Curry went through drills and shooting routines during Wednesday’s pre-playoff practice.

The Warriors didn’t scrimmage on Wednesday’s practice, but the team is expected to on Thursday. Curry on the floor for a scrimmage at practice would be another positive step in his recovery.

Stephen Curry practiced fully with the team today. He didn’t scrimmage because the team didn’t scrimmage, but he did all the drills, etc. Kerr said “it’s looking pretty good” that Curry would scrimmage tomorrow.

Before returning to the court in the playoffs, Curry will need to continue checking off boxes like practices and scrimmaging.
