Coach Robbie Hooker is challenging his Western Sydney Wanderers A-League Women team to continue to push the boundaries on their record-breaking run.
The Wanderers are on their best winning stretch in the ALW, tasting success in four consecutive games to rise to fourth on the ladder.
And Hooker is urging his charges to extend that winning run in Saturday's season-shaping home game against Brisbane Roar.
"It's really exciting, really proud for us in the club, to set that benchmark," Hooker said on Thursday.
"Hopefully we can push the boundaries even further and make that record a little bit higher."
The Wanderers (20 points) meet the 10th-placed Roar (14) aware of a ladder logjam: only eight points separate lowly Brisbane from second-placed Sydney FC.
But Hooker said his club's finals fate remained firmly within their control.
"At the start of the year most teams say that they want to make the finals," he said.
"Now, we have got pretty much our destiny in our own hands.
"Provided we keep performing, we will make the finals - so now it's a matter of how far can we go?
"Can we make the top four? Can we make the top two? Can we make the grand final?
"All those things come into the equation but the main thing, in terms of the players, is just try to keep improving each week.
"If we're good enough on the day, we'll pick up points."
Sydney FC and sixth-placed Melbourne Victory are two clubs around the Wanderers on the ladder and they meet on Friday.
The Sky Blues are seeking consecutive wins for the first time this season in the away encounter at AAMI Park.
On Saturday, last-placed Adelaide United host Perth Glory, who start the round in third spot.
Sunday's fixtures pit Wellington Phoenix (ninth) against Canberra United (11th) while Newcastle Jets close out the round with a derby against Central Coast Mariners in what shapes as a pivotal encounter for both clubs.
The Jets are in eighth spot with 17 points, one shy of the seventh-placed Mariners.
