Walmart Soup Kit Recalled Over Listeria in 29 States, and Its Use-By Date Has Not Passed Yet

A refrigerated soup kit sold exclusively at Walmart is being recalled across 29 states because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, and the timing means some of it is likely still sitting in home refrigerators right now.

Kettle Cuisine LLC of Savage, Maryland, is recalling its 14-ounce Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kit. The company announced the action on August 12, 2026, and the FDA posted the announcement the following day. The company says it has received no confirmed reports of illnesses associated with the product.
