In the recent election, voters in Loudoun County, Virginia, and Fairfax County have shared their perspectives on their decision-making process.

Alissa Baker, a voter from Loudoun County, decided to vote for former President Donald Trump in this election. She likened her vote to a utility or taking the bus, stating that while it may not align perfectly with her views, it gets her close enough to her desired destination. Baker mentioned that Nikki Haley's endorsement played a significant role in influencing her decision, acknowledging that finding a candidate with whom she agrees 100% is unlikely.

Kelly Schofield, a self-described old school conservative from Fairfax County, has been a loyal supporter of Nikki Haley. Schofield, who had planned to write in Haley's name after she dropped out of the race, emphasized the importance of Haley supporters in the election. Despite President Joe Biden stepping aside, Schofield expressed her reluctance to support Vice President Kamala Harris due to differences in economic policy. She noted her fiscally conservative stance as a key factor in her decision-making process.
