Virginia Burglar Caught by Residents While Taking Nap on Couch: Police

A Virginia man was reportedly found asleep on a couch inside of the home he was in the muddle of burglarizing, officials said.

Residents of a home in Manassas, Virginia, called police after allegedly discovering 37-year-old Yonia Josue Villatoro Torres, a man they did not know, sleeping on their couch in their home, FOX 5 reported.

Upon arrival, police arrested and detained Torres without incident. No property was reported missing from the home.

Torres was reportedly found possessing suspected illegal narcotics, leading to further charges being levied against him. He was charged with burglary, possession of a scheduled I or II narcotic and public intoxication.
