Vinicius Junior: Real Madrid star issues statement in response to alleged racist abuse

Vinicius Junior has released a statement following alleged racist abuse towards him during Real Madrid’s Champions League tie with Benfica.

The winger accused Benfica’s Gianluca Prestianni of directing a racist slur towards him in the wake of Vinicius’ 50th-minute goal which had given Real the lead at the Estadio da Luz.
