Manchester United-linked striker Victor Osimhen has hinted that he wants to stay at Italian heavyweights Napoli this summer.
The Nigerian striker, who is 23, has been linked with a plethora of Premier League clubs in recent months, including United, Arsenal and Newcastle United. He has enjoyed an encouraging 2021/22 campaign for Napoli, netting 17 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions, as well as chipping in with six assists.
Osimhen joined the Italian giants in July 2020 and has scored 27 goals and grabbed six assists in 60 appearances, highlighting that he is going from strength-to-strength. He is one of the most promising strikers in European football and it is easy to understand why so many clubs are being linked with his signature.

But despite interest from the Premier League and elsewhere, the former Lille man has dropped his biggest hint yet that he wants to stay at Napoli this summer. He has outlined how much he has enjoyed working with head coach Luciano Spalletti and why he is keen to continue that relationship in years to come.
"I have to thank Spalletti so much," Osimhen told Radio Kiss Kiss. "He helped me a lot in my growth as a footballer from many points of view, and I have to thank him and his staff for helping me score all these goals.
"They helped me improve my movement. He always talks to me after training and trains me both with and without the ball.
"I know I'm dealing with a very high-level coach, really. It is a great honour and a real pleasure to be trained by him, and I hope to be able to work with him for many more years."
United are poised to prioritise the signing of a striker in this summer's transfer window. Edinson Cavani is set to leave the club when his contract expires and uncertainty surrounds Anthony Martial's future.
Back in February, interim boss Ralf Rangnick outlined the importance of United reducing the average age of their attacking options this summer. The German went as far as admitting that it was "obvious" that United must act on the matter.
"This is obvious," Rangnick said. "Edinson's contract is running out in the summer, and the club needs the best possible centre-forward.
"This is an obvious one. I think everyone is aware of that."
