Vice President Kamala Harris has confirmed her commitment to participate in a roundtable discussion with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters as part of her efforts to engage with working-class voters in the lead-up to the upcoming election.
The Teamsters, a prominent union representing 1.3 million members, are yet to endorse a candidate for the 2024 race, with a decision expected post-conventions. Some Democrats have expressed concerns over the union president's recent appearance at the Republican National Convention, despite seeking a similar role at the upcoming Democratic National Convention.
