Addressing the volunteers, Harris emphasized the importance of their contributions, stating, 'To all the volunteers: I just wanted to come by and say thank you. There’s so much that has happened in our country that makes people feel like they’re alone or they’re not seen.'
During the visit, Harris interacted with attendees and even took a moment to speak to someone over the phone. Holding the device, she expressed her pride and encouragement, saying, 'I’m so proud of you' and reminding them of the remaining 68 days until the election.

Following her stop at the restaurant, the vice president made her way to a local business in Savannah for an interview alongside her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz. Harris is scheduled to continue her campaign activities with a rally at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah before returning to Washington, DC, later in the evening.
