Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz made a brief visit on Sunday to a Pennsylvania firehouse as part of their campaign’s bus tour through the state. The visit included meeting with local firefighters and the firehouse dog.
Accompanied by second gentleman Doug Emhoff and Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz, Harris and Walz shook hands with members of the Aliquippa Fire Department. During the visit, Harris had the opportunity to meet Hank, the fire station’s dog. She took a moment to pet Hank before engaging with other firefighters present.
As a gesture of appreciation, Harris also delivered baked goods to the fire station. The visit provided an opportunity for the officials to connect with the local community and show support for the firefighters who serve the area.
