Veteran sees similarities in WNBL and Hollywood epic

As a fan of award-winning movie The Hunger Games, Bendigo Spirit's Kelsey Griffin posted a snippet of character Effie Trinket on the season's eve proclaiming, "Welcome, welcome, welcome. Happy Hunger Games. And, may your odds ever be in your favour".

The 38-year-old says Trinket's quote represents what "14 seasons in the WNBL feels like".
